MET SEVA
MET 2 Decades Celebration concluded recently. Strong pursuit for excellence and drive to reach the unreached section of the society has enabled MET to be the only education body that has been conferred an NGO in Special Consultative Status with United Nations. Propelled by these principles, the 2 decades celebration finale has also marked the beginning of a new chapter: MET Seva – to serve the less privileged. MET SPORTS CLUB
As part of MET 2 Decades Celebration, CA. Sunil G. Karve, Founder Trustee and Vice-Chairman – MET League of Colleges inaugurated the MET Sports Club. The MET Sports Club team has been registered with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and will be participating in professional corporate matches. As a part of MET’s two decades celebrations, MET hosted MET Rocks a musical medley of bollywood and rock concert on November 07, 2009 at the MET complex. Playing the medleys of the latest and most popular hit rock and bollywood songs this concert marked the celebration of the spirit of togetherness and belonging amongst the MET students, staff, teachers and other faculty. more>>> |
Bandra gets 120 ft high waterfall
MET voices its concern for the environment with a 120 ft tall gigantic waterfall, created with approx. 40000 plastic bottles.

MET Sports Meet
As a part of MET’s 2 Decades celebrations, MET League of Colleges held its Annual Sports Meet on October 14, 2009. The event was inaugurated by CA. Sunil G Karve, Founder Trustee and Vice Chairman – MET, by releasing the MET Annual Sports Meet banner attached to the air balloons. The event was kicked off with great anticipation of fun filled sports action all day long. In order to better equip the less privileged sections of the society, renowned producer and director Amole Gupte and MET League of Colleges came together. As a part of 2 Decades Celebration MET and Amol Gupte Cinema offered an opportunity of ‘Overview of Film Production’ to financially challenged municipal school children on July 10, 2009. Mela times at MET
As part of the 2 Decades Celebration, MET League of Colleges held MET MELA on March 18, 2009 at the MET grounds. This event was well attended by over 2500 students, academicians, staff and corporates. Lighting of the traditional lamp by CA. Sunil G Karve, Founder – MET, marked the inauguration of the MET Mela. This set the mood for the excitement to follow. Captivating dances on Rajasthan, Gujarat and Malvan backed by folk music items were performed by MET staff and students. more>>>
