The ELICA fellowship
MET championed the rights of meritorious students. Ms. Mezoui, announced the 'MET-UN ELICA TECHNICAL MEMORIAL FELLOWSHIP'. The fellowship was proposed by the MET - UN Alumni in memory of five-year old Chiara Aquaro, a young girl who died in a Tunisian plane crash along with her mother. This fellowship will sponsor eligible candidates to pursue internship at the UN for the Paperless Committee project. |

GLOSMET
In March 2003, MET students made history. As a part of global networking initiative, MET organised GLOSMET 2003 - a workshop of Indian NGOs wherein a United Nations Mission headed by Christian Saunders (Head, UNPD), visited MET. The aim of this prestigious liason: 'to meet with major players in the Indian industry and trade representatives to seek their support in the UN procurement programme'.
