SOM HR Conference 2010

MET Schools of Management had organised a HR Conference on March 27, 2010 at the MET Conventional Centre. The topic of the event ‘Role of HR in tackling Global Challenges including Slowdown’ was inaugurated by Mr. J K Tandon, Chairman – JSW Cement Ltd. The invitees for the conference were veterans from the leading corporates like Ms. Aparna Vishwasrao, Associate Director HR - MSD, Mr. Ashok Sharma, Corporate HR – IPCA Labs, Mr. Anand Sathaye, AGM – Corporate HR – Tata Motors, Mr. Unmesh Rai, Sr. Manager – Corporate HR – Tata Motors, Mr. Yogesh Gandhi, Deputy GM – Farm Division –Mahindra & Mahindra, Ms. Kalpana Jaishankar, Global Head HR – Mastek, Mr. Samitabh Roy, Manager HR  - TCS, Ms. Gauri Deshpande, VP HR & Marketing – Criti and Mr. Sanjay Kulkarni, Managing Director – Stern & Stewart India Pvt. Ltd., who shared their valuable experience in form of a panel discussion.

The event was well accomplished by an interactive Q and A session, which was attended in full force by dignitaries, management, faculty, students and staff of MET League of Colleges.
