eWeek Celebration
MET eCell celebrated eWeek in collaboration with NEN India from 7th – 14th February, 2009. MET eCell eWeek has been celebrated since the past three years and the participation has been increasing every year. The prime objective behind this initiative is to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit in management students. MET hosts Consumer Guidance Society of India's Annual meet
As part of 2 Decades Celebrations and being an NGO, MET League of Colleges hosted and participated in the Consumer Guidance Society of India Annual Meet. This event was well attended by MET staff, faculty and students and was a marvellous learning experience. This event focused on the issues and grievancies and the solutions the consumer face in regular life.
Tech@MET - 2009
MET Institute of Computer Science held Tech@MET – a unique Intercollegiate IT Fest on February 17 – 18, 2009. This is a popular annual IT Fest which all the IT students look forward to. Over 300 students from across 25 colleges attended this mega 2 days event. Amongst the colleges that participated were Hiray, BVIMIT, SIES, Sterling, Khalsa, KJ Somaiya, VJTI, NMITD, Ruia etc. more>>>
MET Combat 2008
Once again, PGDM (e-Business) team of Pooja Iyer, Vikram Salvekar and Hoezefa Dhariwala fought all odds and won the prestigious MET Combat 2008 – a mega inter and intra class debates competition. It was a clean sweep where the PGDM team not only won the team award but also the best speaker award.
IT’s future forward
MET Institute of Computer Science conducted a two days workshop on ‘Latest Trends in Advanced Database Techniques’ at MET on 16 – 17 January, 2009. This workshop was attended by industry professionals, faculty, students and other personalities. more>>>
