Seminar on IT
MET Institute of Software Development and Research organised a free informative seminar on June 13, 2009. In the present economic context, rightly fitting theme ‘Current IT Industry Requirements & IT Career Opportunities’ attracted large number of students and professionals who wanted to make a successful career in the IT industry. The seminar covered modules on IT, its scope, recent industry trends, role of software development in IT, software development as a career and requirement of software development. Featured IT experts also cleared many misconceptions that the budding professionals had regarding the industry ground realities. This was followed by a FAQ session. Overall, an enriching session.
MET League of Colleges in association with Loksatta - Campus Mood supplement, launched a youth social campaign. Leading Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni inaugurated the awareness drive to create a movement amongst the youth, to vote and accordingly select and elect their constituency leader for the forth coming Lok Sabha elections. more>>>

MET Sangeet Utsav was organised as part of the 2 Decades Celebration on April 27, 2009. Over 300 students, staff and faculty participated in this event at the MET Convention Centre. more>>>
Mela times at MET
As part of the 2 Decades Celebration, MET League of Colleges held MET MELA on March 18, 2009 at the MET grounds. This event was well attended by over 2500 students, academicians, staff and corporates. Lighting of the traditional lamp by Trustee, marked the inauguration of the MET Mela. This set the mood for the excitement to follow. Captivating dances on Rajasthan, Gujarat and Malvan backed by folk music items were performed by MET staff and students. more>>>
MET announces the 'Right to Vote' initiative
MET League of Colleges in association with Agni and Jaago Re.com inaugurated the awareness drive to create a movement for the youth, to select and elect their leader for the forth coming Lok Sabha elections. The entire objective was to demand for a better life and future by electing capable individuals and political parties to power at the centre.
