48th Maharashtra State Art Exhibition was held at Sai Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya at Pune from 12 - 14 January 2008. MET was the co-sponsor of this event, where academia from all over Maharashtra had participated. Hundreds of students were involved in clay-work, portrait, landscape painting, rangoli and T-shirt painting followed by cultural night and talent hunt. MET faculty and staff gave in depth details about the IIT courses. Many questions were raised during & after the seminar which were answered by MET experts. Students were curious to know more about graphic design, 2D & 3D animations, multimedia courses, website etc. MET screened DACA students’ 2D & 3D animation projects. To make the event more participative MET had a lucky draw on hourly basis, where MET T-shirts, calendars and caps were given as prizes. Overall response was encouraging.
