MET Sangeet Sandhya Mumbai Educational Trust celebrated the spirit of togetherness and bonding by organizing a classic musical evening on February 24, 2010 at the MET Convention Centre. The entire MET family of the trustees, visiting faculties, guest lecturers, key corporates and non-teaching staff were present at the packed event. The popular orchestra – ‘Khumaar’ presented medley of evergreen bollywood super hit songs; that were highly appreciated and enjoyed by all. more>>> The might of the pen! A columnist, a critic, an author and a showbiz consultant, Bhawana Somaaya visited as a guest faculty at MET IMM to train the aspiring journalist through her experiences. She is a renowned film journalist since almost three decades. She has penned columns for The Sunday Observer, Afternoon, The Hindustan Times, The Hindu and has made a mark for several other news papers and magazines. more>>> MET IMM Triangular Series MET Institute of Mass Media organised the triangular cricket series, as an initiative to increase fellowship between alumni and current batches on December 12 to January 9, 2010 at Azad Maidan ground. more>>> Conquering New Milestone! Disability is a matter of perception and once you meet Sankara Raman you would know why. A C.A by profession, Raman is an integral part of the Award Winning Organisation Amar Seva Sangam in Madurai. Raman received the Super Idol Award post his participation in the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2010, where he managed to complete the Dream run despite being confined to his wheelchair. more>>> Zurich visits MET! Prof. Andre Haelg, Dean & Managing Director and Prof. Rene Ruttimann, from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, visited Schools of Management of MET on February 05, 2010. They were very impressed with the MET Schools of Management and expressed desire for students and faculty exchange programmes to start with.
