Workshop on Building Self-esteem
MET Institute of Management strives to promote value-based education, social responsibilities and good citizenry. In alignment to this mandate the HR specialization MMS (Master of Management Studies) students conducted a workshop titled 'Building Self-esteem' for the housekeeping and support staff of the institute. After the workshop the motivated house-keeping staff felt "happy and proud" about themselves and their job.
"You hear you forget, you see you remember, you do you understand", this defines the andragogy of our Training and Development sessions at MET. It aimed at giving a hands-on experience which helped the students understand the various facets of designing and conducting a workshop. Conducted under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Farida Virani, this workshop was also a part of their internal assessment.
