‘Little Wonders Showcase the Spirit of Global Harmony’
Anandvan 2008 – A Grand Affair with a Social Message
MET Rishikul Vidyalaya lays a strong and equal emphasis on academics and co-curricular activities. For this very reason, out of the eight hours that the children spend at school, four hours is dedicated to extra – curricular activities during which academics is taught through the play - way method. All through the year the skillful teachers carefully identify the aptitudes of the children and accordingly build up a plan to develop that particular aptitude.
The final results of all these efforts are showcased during ANANDVAN - the Annual Day of MET Rishikul Vidyalaya. The biggest attraction is that MET Rishikul Vidyalaya’s ANANDVAN celebrations are coloured with a variety of performances.
The theme for Anandvan 2008, was ‘GLOBAL HARMONY’. The main intention was to pass the message of ‘Tolerance and Brotherhood’ which is the desperate need of the hour. MRV children spread the message of living together in peace and harmony by giving due and equal respect to each and every religion, globally.
Anandvan 2008 hightlights were the Vocal performances, Dances (Christ/ Allah/ Buddha/ Ganesha/ DevMalhari / Gypsy/ Ribbon/ Arabic and Spanish), Drama and A/V clips.
