Hitting the Bullseye

Vedant Amish Parekh, Grade VIII student of MET Rishikul Vidyalaya is one of the most promising sportsman for the country. He participated in the prestigious Mumbai Mayor Cup Field Indoor Archery Championship, conducted by Field Archery Association of India, in July 2016 and bagged a cache of prizes. His list of accolade runs impressively.

Vedant Amish Parekh has won Mumbai Mayor Cup - U 14 - Wooden Bow Round in the multiple categories - 'Single Spot - First Place', 'Five Spot - First Place', 'Mixed Spot - First Place', 'Overall - First Place'. In Mumbai Mayor Cup - U 14 - All Maharashtra - Wooden Bow Round again he won the 'Single Spot - Second Place', 'Five Spot - First Place', 'Mixed Spot - First Place' and 'Overall - First Place'

He continued his winning spree in Mumbai Mayor Cup - U 17 Wooden Bow Round by winning 'Single Spot - Second Place', 'Five Spot - First Place', 'Mix Spot - Third Place' and 'Overall - First Place'. In Mumbai Mayor Cup- U 17 - All Maharashtra - Wooden Bow Round, he once again bagged 'Single Spot - Second Place', 'Five Spot - First Place', 'Mix Spot –Third Place' and 'Overall - First Place'

With eyes fixed on the target, Vedanta has also achieved one Team Gold in National – U14, four Golds in Mumbai - U14, three Golds and one silver in National – U14, two Golds, one Silver & one Bronze in National – U17, three Golds & one Silver in Mumbai - U17 and one Silver and Team Trophy in Bulls Eye.

MET Rishikul Vidyalaya believes that Vedant will continue to achieve higher milestones and will win many accolades at the national and international arena.
