MRV wins Video Competition @ School Enterprise Challenge
School Enterprise Challenge is a competition conducted by Teach a Man to Fish, an organisation committed to cultivate skills and attitudes needed to be a successful entrepreneur, in children across the globe by making entrepreneurship a regular and integrated practice in school curricula. As a participant in this challenge, MRV's students have been successfully running a business enterprise with a brand name 'MRV GreenWorld'.
MRV GreenWorld is a sustainable business enterprise with commitment to creating a sustainable green world for a better tomorrow. The products, namely, GreenGold (a Compost created using bio-degradable waste), GreenLife (the Medicinal Plants), GreenClean (a cleanser made by using lemon and orange peels) and Natural Secrets (a booklet printed using recycled paper, giving information about medicinal plants and remedies) are successfully created and sold by students. The mantra, 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle -stands at the core of this business venture. The products, the packaging, the labelling reflect this mantra.
MRV has been a participant since last year and was the Top Global Winner of Stage Two of School Enterprise Challenge 2014-15.
This year a Mini competition 'I am an Entrepreneur' was conducted by School enterprise Challenge wherein participants were asked to send a video featuring the team, talking about the roles played by them in their ventures. MRV GreenWorld's Team entered for the same. Our Video, created by students featuring them as entrepreneurs talking about the various roles and responsibilities shouldered by them in this venture, was selected as the winner.
