Recent Trends in Cosmetics
Dr. Rahul Phate, MD of Mrunalini Herbs and Rahul Phate Speciality Products delivered a guest lecture on 'Recent Trends in Cosmetics' at the MET Institute of Pharmacy, Nashik. Dr. Phate highlighted career options for a Pharma graduate in the field of cosmetics. He also elaborated the role of a pharmacist in the scientific approach towards cosmetic research and formulation.

IT Experts log in at MET Nashik
Students at MET Nashik had an opportunity to interact with IT experts at an informative seminar organised by the department of Computers, Information Technology and MCA. IT experts spoke on the current & future trends in IT and shed light upon job opportunities for IT professionals in India and abroad. Student's forum instituted at MET Nashik
The Student’s forum of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) was established at MET Institute of Engineering, Nashik. Dignitaries at the event included, A B Veer, G.M - BSNL, Nashik and Dr. More, former Principal, Chandwad College of Engineering along with prominent IETE members viz. Prof. Sunil Morade, Apurva Jakhadi and Prof. M D Kokate. Dr. Ankur Kulkarni, Principal - MET IOE and Prof. Vijay Wadhai, HOD – MET IOE, facilitated the event. The event concluded with a special interactive session on latest developments in Engineering and Technology. |

Management students from MET Nashik and Mumbai campus undertook the third China Study Mission. The faculty team consisted of Prof. Sangeeta Tandon and Brig. M K Nag – MET AMDC. This special rendezvous took place in the presence of Honourable Chief Guest Ashok Rajwade - M.D, Hindustan Hardy Spices Ltd. The lecture was a joint presentation by MET Nashik and National Institute of Personnel Management. |

MET aspirants here we come!
MET Nashik made its foray into education exhibitions this quarter. Staff and faculty were present to guide the students about the programmes offered. The exhibition - 'Trantra Shikshan va Vevashaya Shikshan Margadarshan Melov' was held in January 2007 and over 30 other colleges from Nashik and adjoining cities participated in the event. MET Nashik made a mark with its state-of-the-art stall design that used laptops, amplifiers, speakers and projectors. |
