MET faculty hosts the NIPM national summit


National Institute of Personnel Management is the premier all-India Institute of professionals engaged in personnel management, industrial relations, labor welfare and human resources development. The NIPM Mumbai Chapter organized its National Summit on 27th March 2015 at Hotel Westin in Mumbai.

As India embarks on the ‘Make in India’ mission, a new era marked by the philosophy of build rather than buy begins, that will change the way we do business in India and also how we manage and develop our Human Capital . Thus theme of the conference ‘Make in India - The People Perspective’ had an immense value.

Ms. Mansi Kirloskar - Executive Director Kirloskar Systems Ltd, Mr. Adil Malia - Group President - HR of Essar Group, Mr. Prince Augustin, Vice President - Group Human Capital & Leadership Development of Mahindra Group, Mr. Virjesh Upadhyay - All India General Secretary of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, Mr. Bijay Sahoo - President - HR, Consumer, Telecom & Media Businesses of Reliance Industries Limited, Mr. Jayesh Pandey from Accenture were some of the prominent HR leaders who presented their perspective on the topic.

Dr. Farida Virani - Faculty and HOD (HR & Behavioural Sciences) at MET Institute of Management and Executive Committee Member - NIPM was the Master of Ceremony for the summit. She received accolades for her poise, presence and her comments about the topics discussed which added value to the audience. The NIPM Chairman Mr. Sattish Ghogre - Senior Group Advisor Corporate Industrial Relations at Mahindra & Mahindra felicitated her and appreciated her effective time management, which helped conduct and culminate the event smoothly.
