MET goes musical

MET Sangeet Utsav was organised as part of the 2 Decades Celebration on April 27, 2009. Over 300 students, staff and faculty participated in this event at the MET Convention Centre. 

It was a landmark occasion for MET League of Colleges when this melodious event was unfolded. The celebration featured melodies from Bollywood fused with Classical Ragas to create a musical extravaganza. The popular singers - Omkar Dadarkar from MET World of Music, Paribhasha Walmiki, Anita Goswami and Aastha Dave from MRV sang famous Classical and Bollywood songs. This event started with a brief introduction of various ragas and it’s relevance in music creation followed by popular film songs. The Classical evening was house full, making MET Sangeet Utsav the most popular musical extravaganza at MET.
