MET's superior intellectual capital has been widely appreciated on many forums including the prestigious UN-ECOSOC forum. Recently MET added another feather in its cap with one more significant and praiseworthy contribution towards the education scenario in the national perspective.

Dr. R Swaminathan, Former Deputy Director (Journalism) – MET Institute of Mass Media edited a futuristic, hard-bound book titled Mumbai Vision 2015: Agenda for Urban Renewal under the aegis of Observer Research Foundation. The book gives policymakers a clear road map to understand the complex and growing Mumbai. Amongst a host of issues pertinent to Mumbai's renewal process, a significant portion has been attributed to Education reforms.

Sunil G Karve, Founder Trustee and Vice Chairman – MET League of Colleges, has made a path-breaking and thought-provoking contribution through a chapter on the Role of Private Trusts in Higher Education . This chapter has gone down in history as a significant contribution towards the Vision of Mumbai 2015.
