MET’s Hat-trick @ MUNA! MET management team of six students participated at the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA), which was conducted by Rotary District 3140 on November 21, 2010 for the leading B Schools across Mumbai. This event is held every year across 48 countries comprising of more than 400 conferences. more>>> MET Shines at the World Economic Forum! The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas. World Economic Forum requests participants to involve and share their views on various economic issues and concerns around the world. This comes under the Davos Debates section. more>>> MET hits the top again! MET Institute of Computer Science students Mr. Rakeshkumar Choudhary ranked 2nd, scored 76.88% and Ms. Sooryakrishna Pillai ranked 3rd, scored 75.44% at the Master of Computer Application, 2010 examination held by the University of Mumbai. more>>> MET EVOKES AN APPLAUSE! MET students proved their mettle yet again, stood 1st in Inter B-School event. MET management students team Rohan Shetye, Manali Satam, Ruchi Shrawankar, Sunami Paigankar, Rameez Sayed, Mayur Vemula, Hitesh Thakkar, Sumita Yadav, Hemant Suryawanshi, Vaibhav Ujankar, Jeenal Patel participated in EVOKE – an inter B-School festival hosted by the TIMSR on 6th & 7th October 2010. The students took part in ‘Prachar’, an event of Evoke where they were exposed to different concepts of marketing. more>>> MET defines universal brotherhood MET management students Venkati Muttappa and Manu Garekar won the first and second prizes respectively in the essay competition titled ‘Challenges to Universal Brotherhood’ at the MIG Club, Mumbai on 27th August 2010. Shri Sanjay Kelapure, President - Vishwa Adhyayan Kendra (VAK) mentioned that VAK organises the U B Day every year to foster friendship and goodwill with various consulates and foreign nationals in Mumbai. Prof. Vijay Page, Director General – MET IOM lighted the inaugural lamp at the event.
