Who Can Apply ?

Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject (in 10+2 or at graduation level)
Candidates who have appeared for MAH- MCA-CET
Final-year students awaiting results may also apply (subject to fulfillment of eligibility at the time of admission)

Selection Procedure

The students will have to appear for the state-level Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Mumbai. The applicants will have to submit CET scores.
During the CAP round applicants need to select DTE Code: 3167 for MET Institute of Computer Science.

What is MCA?: MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications, a full-time postgraduate program (2 years/4 semesters) focusing on advanced programming, software design, system architecture, and project management—designed to groom students for careers in the IT industry.
What I will learn in the MCA course at MET?: You’ll master programming foundations, mathematics, and database systems, and gain hands-on experience with modern tools. The revised curriculum incorporates:

How many semesters are covered in a 2 year of MCA programme at MET?: There are total 4 semesters spanning over 2 years of MCA programme.
What are the eligibility criteria for MET MCA?: To be eligible for the MCA course:

You must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics or Statistics at the 10+2 or graduation level.

Minimum 50% aggregate for open category, 45% for reserved category.
What is the selection process to get admission in MET MCA?: Admission for MCA is centralized, as per the rules and regulations of Government of Maharashtra / Directorate of Technical Education. The students will have to appear for the state-level Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Mumbai. The applicants will have to submit CET scores.
