MET also got an opportunity to work with the NGO section of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC). MET students were invited for internship to implement the Paperless Committee Project at the United Nations. It was the first project of its kind. And MET students won global recognition with its successful implementation. Now, MET students regularly assist the NGO section of UN-ECOSOC in Project Planning and Management Development of Electronic Meeting System using wireless fidelity technology for the committee. 7 more batches of MET students have executed various projects at UN-ECOSOC since 2003.
