CA. Sunil G. Karve, Founder MET League of Colleges, recently had a private audience with the President of India, H.E. Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Fast gaining a reputation for his progressive views in the field of education, Karve discussed his vision for the future of education in India.

Karve also apprised the President of the developments at MET over the last two decades. Of particular significance was the conferring of the Special Consultative Status by the United Nations (ECOSOC) on MET, (the only educational entity to be bestowed this rare honour), which has now found its place in the Official Archives of the President at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
