Thirteen institutes, 4000 students, 500 faculty & staff, come together to celebrate MET's Annual day.
|If you wished to witness pure talent then MET was the place to be on Friday October 12, 2007 at the MET Utsav talent hunt. Students, staff and faculty from all the institutes at MET showcased their musical and theatrical talent at this mega event. The ages of the participants ranged from 4 years to 60 years. When young Khush from MET Rishikul Vidyalaya came on stage with four synthesizers, the enthralled audience forgot to clap and gave him a standing ovation instead! The enrapt audiences enjoyed a host of vocal performances and instrumental bands. They laughed out their guts at the mimicry items, stand up acts and the Bollywood spoof. Winners will perform at the grand finale on October 20, 2007. Other Judges included: Harsh Vashit - Actor, Ritu Kambaw - Actor, Ravi Verma - Vocalist, Subhash Vange - Violinist & Classical Guitar Player, Prabha Pandey - Renowned Theatre Artist, Sanjeevani - Famous Playback Singer
October 18 - Sports Day (9 am to 7 pm) & DJ Nite (7 pm onwards)
Muscle Power! Watch the staff, students, faculty & trustees in a battle of muscles at Tug of War, Box Cricket, Rink football, Volley ball, Relay and Throw ball.
October 19 - Fun Workshops (9 am to 7 pm)
Fun and learn is the mantra. Members of the MET family will attend specially arranged workshops on Bhavishyavani, Western Dancing, Hobby Arts, Bhangra, Mock tails and Kickboxing & Power Yoga.
October 20 - Cultural night (6 p.m. onwards. Followed by Dinner)
The Grand Finale - At this dazzling star-studded show, METizens will put up a variety entertainment programme that will include a fashion show, host of dance performances, skits, stand up acts, awards function etc. Bollywood celebrities grace the event and shake a leg with the participants.
