Certificate Programmes in e-empowered Management & Business Administration Finance (BFSI)
eMBA-Finance (BFSI)

MET is pleased to announce the professional programme e-empowered Management and Business Administration in Finance (eMBA-Finance) with dual specialisation in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. We take pride in stating that we are a pioneering B-School, which offers this unique programme in response to the changes in the financial markets. There is tremendous scope for product development and value added services in the financial sector. Data service, call centre and security services have become the most important aspects of customer services. Banks have already entered the Insurance sector and Insurance companies are promoting banks. The financial services include stock broking, payment gateway, mutual funds, bonds and other instruments of finance with the integration of IT sector. Therefore it has become imperative for the MBA Finance students to specialise themselves in BFSI sector to enlarge the scope of acquiring skills, technical competency and placements. more>>>

Are you eligible?

A graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. Those who are appearing for the final examination can also apply. However, they must produce documentary evidence of having passed the examination, on or before the commencement of the programme, failing which their admission will be liable for cancellation and their fees will not be refunded. Proficiency in MS Office is a pre requisite.

Admission Procedure

Candidates applying for this programme will be selected on the basis of:

  • CATEGORY 1
    MET - MCT + Group Discussion + Personal Interview + Work Experience & Academics + Psychometric Test
    OR
  • CATEGORY 2
    CAT Score + Group Discussion + Personal Interview + Work Experience & Academics + Psychometric Test

Note :

  1. MET - MCT + GD + PI + Psychometric Test shall be held at the Bhujbal Knowledge Centre, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra (W), Mumbai, India on the date which will be informed to the candidates in advance
  2. The weightages for the two categories mentioned above will be as follows:
Category 1: MET - MCT Applicants
MET - MCT 100
Group Discussion (GD) 40
Personal Interview (PI) 40
Work Experience & Academics 20
Total 200
Category 2: CAT Applicants
CAT Score 100
Group Discussion (GD) 40
Personal Interview (PI) 40
Work Experience & Academics 20

MET - Management Congruence Test

MET - MCT is specifically designed to assess the suitability of students for various management careers. These tests establish score on emotional balance, extroversion, adaptability, congruence and ethics. There are no right or wrong answers. The candidates are to describe themselves honestly and as accurately as possible.

Note :

  1. The Management reserves the right to fix the minimum qualifying marks for each of these components/subcomponents and/or change the components, subcomponents and their weightages.
  2. For every wrong answer, marks will be deducted.
  3. Students are expected to be dressed in formal attire for the selection process.

Fee Structure

Fee for each certificate is Rs 1,44,000 (Rupees one lac forty four thousand only) + GST as applicable, with Laptop in the first term.
Fees are payable by A/c Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'MET's AMDC’ payable at Mumbai.

On being selected the students will have to pay total fees of first two certificates i.e. Rs. 2,88,000/- (Rupees two lacs and eighty eight thousand only) + GST as applicable, immediately at the time of admission, failing which the admission is liable to be cancelled. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

LOAN FACILITY

MET has worked out special educational loan schemes for qualifying candidates along with leading banks. Details are available at the Institute.

MET FREESHIPS

The MET Freeship Awards fund the education of 2 academically qualified but economically weak students. An impartial committee has been set up for this purpose. Apart from scores, students will be required to submit proof of family income. Though MET has made provisions for 2 students per programme, in case of more number of deserving candidates, the grant will be equally divided amongst all of them.

HOSTEL FACILITY

Currently the Institute does not provide hostel facilities to students. However, it endeavours to help students procure accommodation around the Institute campus.


AFFIDAVIT

An affidavit confirming the medical fitness of the candidate and his/her eligibility fitting into the norms of this course is true and correct to the best of his/her knowledge & in case of any falsehood or withholding the information on the above account will solely be the responsibility of the applicant candidate.

As per the directives issued by the Government of India, under the UGC Regulations On Curbing The Menace Of Ragging In Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, any attempt at ragging is considered a serious offence that is liable to be severely punished. All students and their parents will have to sign an Anti-ragging Affidavit in the prescribed format after gaining admission to the course.
