MET Schools of Management organized guest lecture on ‘Practical Wisdom for Corporate Career’ by Mr. Dinesh Sharma, Marketing & Operations Head, Samsung CDMA Mobiles Division on Jan 30, 2010 at the MET Convention Centre. The lecture was well attended by a large audience of more than 200 students besides faculty and staff members.
Mr. Sharma highlighted the competition that exists in the corporate world and suggested brilliant tips to combat the same. He shared a lot of his personal experiences and said that nothing but hard work combined with smart work is the key ingredient of success. He told the students to shun all rosy perceptions of a cushy job after their post graduation for according to him life is quite different than that perceived room textbook learning. He insisted that conscious discipline be maintained in all walks of life as it becomes a lifestyle thereafter. He felt that our attitude towards work matters at the end of the day to make a success of our career. The lecture was followed by a long question answer session. |
