MET Schools of Management students Ms. Amrita Bawkar and Ms. Darshana Dave participated in paper presentation ‘Centaurus’ and won the second prize for the paper presentation at ‘Magnetor’, which was a two days event organised by Dr. V N BRIMS’s on 19 & 20 January, 2010. The event included management games which were purely based on management skills and aimss at providing an area for future managers and entrepreneurs. Topic of the presentation was ‘How BIG is BIG for the Indian Banks?’ MET students presented the paper on an innovative concept in which they explored the possibilities of banks reaching the rural youth in the bigger way through internet mobile banking and how it is big for the banks. Hence, analyzing and presenting “How big is the Banking through Internet to Get, Set and Go for the Indian Banks?” It had a three stage screening process. First stage – only soft copy of an abstract, second stage - paper not exceeding 1000 - 1300 words and the final stage - paper presentations had to be done in 10 - 15 minutes through power point presentation. Congrats!
