Students from the MET Schools of Management participated at the ‘Confluence 2009’ organised by IIM – Ahmedabad from 27 – 29 November 2009. MET management student, Nikita Sharma won the first prize at the 4D Financial Case Study by Asparagus (Quant Club of IIM Ahmedabad). Over 500 students from the top Indian leading B Schools participated in various competitions at the Confluence 2009.
MET’s winning entry competition was about a company which had to launch 3 new products in the market; expected demand and cost of the products were given. The team was given Rs. 10 crores to launch any of the two products and gain maximum profits. The team which gains maximum profits was the winner. The three participants of the winning team were Pratik Kodali from IIM, Ajay from NIRMA, and Nitika Sharma from MET. Congratulations MET SOM! |
