Talented Hindustani Classical Vocal Artist, Shri. Omkar Dadarkar, from MET League of Colleges was awarded the coveted 'Aditya Vikram Birla Kala Kiran Puraskar' in the presence of Hindustani Classical Music Maestro Shri. Pandit Jasraj on November 21, 2009 at the NCPA. This award was instituted to perpetuate the memory of Late Shri Aditya Vikram Birla, the Iconic Indian Industrialist by Sangit Kala Kendra. Governor of Maharashtra, Honorable S C Jamir presented the prestigious Aditya Vikram Kala Kiran Puraskar to MET’s Omkar Dadarkar, who already has many awards to his credit.
