Twin Wins by MET
MET students participated at the ‘Virtualities ’10’ - the management festival of SIESCOMS which was jointly organized by the General Management, Pharma Management and the Biotechnology Management on February 17, 2010 at SIES, Mumbai. ‘Social Media Revolution’ was a flagship event of Parivartan sponsored by Spenta Multimedia. Ms. Darshana Dave and Ms. Prachi Rajapkar management students won 1st prize in the case study competition and at the same event Kshitij Mehta, Mahera Chouhan, Nirav Thakkar won 1st prize in ‘Tag the Brand’. “Tag the Brand” was an event wherein there were 7 teams comprising of 3 members each. Each team were given 1 franchisee of IPL. MET management students were given “DELHI DAREDEVILS”. The task involved making a print ad for a Swiss Watch brand “BANDELIER” established in 1878. “BANDELIER” is going to launch a high end range of watches (priced between Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 2,00,000) in association with IPL this year. MET management students prepared the print ad in the stipulated time, presented it and also explained the concept and its relevance to the print ad. The event was judged by professionals from Ad agencies like Ogilvy & Mather. The leading B schools like NMIMS, NITIE, IMT Nagpur, JBIMS, IMT (Nagpur), Nirma University participated in this event. MET management students are razor sharp and thus, defeated all the colleges by their innovative ideas & plans to promote products of any sector using Social Media Marketing.
