GOLF @ MET
MET recently launched a unique Golf induction program for all the students of the MET League of Colleges. This programme ‘MET Golf’ commenced from the first week of February 2010. The students are being trained by internationally well-known Golf players and coaches from Sanam Merchant Golf Academy. ‘MET Golf’ initiates the students to the game of golf. This will help the students acquire multi dimension skills and build their competency as professionals and facilitate networking on a broader scale.
MET League of Colleges is the first ever Indian B-School to introduce this very innovative concept of real professional sport training. Golf is globally recognized as ‘The Management Sport’. Golf develops various skills needed as a business manager. Many a business and corporate decisions and networking is made on the Golf course. ‘MET Golf’ will induct all the students to the various aspects of the game, equipments used for playing, terminology of the game and also understanding of the scoring system. On completion of the Golf camp, all the students will be awarded a professional certificate of training under ‘MET Golf’.
