Professor Shyam Sunder, an experimental economist, accounting theorist and a professor at Yale SOM visited MET on 27th October, 2010 and interacted with the managment faculty members and research associates. The interaction mainly revolved around issues related to the existing infrastructural, economic, scientific and educational constraints in India and the need for working out a solution for various questions that urban India is facing. A comprehensive discussion on the contemporaneity of the subjects taught in the Management capsule and the current state of education in India also took place on the occasion. Mr. Shyam Sunder shared his views about making the process of education in general and professional education in particular, relevant and dynamic for students and shared his views on possible higher education reforms.
