Mihir Shah and Viraj Doshi of PGDM batch 2019-21 beat 1000 teams to become the 2^nd runner up in the recent Finvent 2020, a Finance competition hosted by IIT Madras. The first round of Finvent was an online quiz to test the team's knowledge of business affairs followed by a financial case study analysis. The best of the fin-brains including MET’s PGDM students were shortlisted to present their cases on IIT Madras campus in front of judges. The shortlisted teams included top management colleges like L.N.Welingkar (Mumbai), Great Lakes (Chennai), IMI (Delhi), Symbiosis (Pune) and IIT (Madras). Mihir and Viraj had to solve a case study on Mergers and Acquisition. Their presentation impressed the panel of judges which comprised of Tirthankar Choudhuri, Vice President - American Express (Digital Data Sciences) and Dean, Faculty & alumni of IIT Madras.
