Dr. Farida Virani, Professor HR & Behavioural Sciences, MET Institute of Management has been actively involved as a Master Trainer with the International Conciliation and Arbitration Board ICAB under the aegis of the Aga Khan Foundation (An International NGO). Due to the Covid-19 scenario Alternate Dispute Resolution Training - Mediation also had to change course and move online. Dr. Farida Virani was a part of the core trainers’ team who developed the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Program. Since the lockdown she has trained about 100 participants world over. CAB Chair’s and members from USA, UK, Tanzania, Tajikistan, India, Australia, New Zealand who took part in these training sessions gave excellent feedback on the quality of the programme as well as the excellence displayed by Dr. Virani even though this was a Volunteering (pro bono) assignment. NCAB UK expressed their appreciation on the quality and delivery of the ODR training saying, "Dr Farida delivered the training in an extremely professional manner. The CAB system is most fortunate to have such a talented and voluntary Faculty".
