MET Institute of Mass Media welcomed Ms. Poornima Suryawanshi, Trainer, Google News Initiative to conduct a Fake News Verification Workshop for the ADMM students.
Verifying information before blindly believing or using it is a must in today's age. It is of utmost importance not to include ourselves in the rumor-spreading league and to restrict the spread of incorrect information. The workshop covered tools and activities to understand and identify fake news and its crust.
The session benefited the ADMM students through the essence of correct communication.
