The students of MET Institute of PGDM got an opportunity to visit the Reserve Bank of India, India’s central bank. The objective of the visit was to understand the working of currencies in the country and the related policies. During the visit students got an opportunity to interact with the officials and discuss numerous aspects such as functioning of RBI’s website, Note circulation, Policies and Rates, Recruitments, Denominations of Notes and Coins, Benefits of Saving Accounts, etc. The MET students had an amazing time at RBI along with a lot of learning about various changes in currency reforms. The visit to Museum was one of the best experiences as they were able to get the knowledge of oldest forms of currencies and the transition that took place over the years.
