MET Institute of PGDM continues to prepare future managers through experiential learning and industry-oriented pedagogy. As part of AAROHAN 2026,The Induction Programme for the PGDM Batch of 2026–28, the institute organized Case Quest 2026 on 20th July 2026, introducing students to the art of business case analysis and strategic decision-making.
The session was conducted by Dr. Debmallaya Chatterjee from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), who guided students through an engaging case study, demonstrating how real-world business challenges can be analysed using a structured and analytical approach. Students actively participated by identifying business problems, evaluating alternatives, developing strategic solutions, and presenting well-reasoned recommendations, gaining first-hand experience of the decision-making process followed by business leaders.
Beyond case analysis, Dr. Chatterjee shared practical insights on approaching case studies systematically, sharpening analytical thinking, and even creating original case studies by observing real business situations through a managerial lens. His interactive session encouraged students to think critically, collaborate effectively, and communicate their ideas with confidence.
Case Quest 2026 served as an ideal introduction to the case-based learning methodology that forms an integral part of the PGDM curriculum at MET Institute of PGDM. By connecting academic concepts with practical business scenarios, the session laid a strong foundation for developing future-ready managers equipped with problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
