An activity-based learning session titled “Cyber Security Court Room” was conducted by Prof. Puja Devgun for MCA students of MET Institute of Computer Science on 11th March 2026.
The session used a role-play courtroom debate to help students understand the practical application of cyber laws. Students were divided into prosecution, defense, and judge panels and debated real cybersecurity cases related to data breaches and ethical hacking. Participants used provisions from the Information Technology Act, 2000, including Sections 43A and 66, to support arguments.
The activity enhanced students’ understanding of cyber laws while developing analytical thinking, legal reasoning, teamwork, and public speaking skills.
