As part of the Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations, MET Institute of Computer Science (MET ICS) organized an AI/Digital Poster Competition for its students on 25th July 2027. The competition was themed "Wari: An Indian Knowledge System in Motion," aimed to introduce students to the rich philosophy and traditions of the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) through the cultural heritage of the Warkari movement. By integrating Artificial Intelligence and digital design with traditional knowledge, students explored how technology can preserve, promote, and communicate India's intangible cultural heritage.
Dressed in traditional Warkari attire, participants presented innovative posters that reflected creativity, cultural awareness, and technological innovation. The competition fostered a deeper appreciation of Indian traditions while encouraging students to apply modern digital tools for cultural preservation. Posters were evaluated based on originality, thematic relevance, visual appeal, and the effective integration of culture with technology, making the event both educational and culturally enriching.
