MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) conducted an awareness session on 13th August 2026 on the occasion of World Organ Donation Day, with the objective of educating students about the importance of organ donation and its role in saving lives.
The session focused on creating awareness about the need for organ donation, addressing common myths and misconceptions, and highlighting the social and humanitarian significance of organ donation. Students were also sensitized to the importance of making informed decisions and sharing accurate information about organ donation with their families and communities.
The initiative aimed to foster a sense of social responsibility among students and encourage them to become ambassadors of awareness for this noble cause. The session received an encouraging response from the students and contributed to strengthening their understanding of organ donation and its life-saving potential.
