MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) organised an educational field visit to K.V. Nisarg Ayurvedic Pharmacy on 10th and 11th March 2026 for First Year Diploma in Pharmacy students. A total of 39 students participated in this experiential learning initiative.

During the visit, students explored a wide range of Ayurvedic formulations and products including Amla Churna, Triphala Churna, Neem Taila, Gulab Jal, Gymnema Sylvestre (Gurmar), therapeutic oils, skin care products, and herbal health tonics. They also gained insights into product labelling, formulation techniques, storage conditions, and the therapeutic uses of Ayurvedic medicines in healthcare.

The visit offered valuable exposure to traditional Ayurvedic practices, consultations, and alternative healing therapies such as acupressure therapy. This enriching experience helped students strengthen their understanding of herbal medicines and appreciate the role of traditional medicine in modern healthcare, making the learning process more practical, interactive, and memorable.
