MET Institute of PGDM organised an insightful Business News Analysis Session on 28th September 2026, led by Mr. Rishi Chourasia, Founder and Director, Vikalp Education.
The interactive session encouraged students to look beyond business headlines and understand contemporary developments through strategic, economic and managerial perspectives. Discussions covered the Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) and its impact on digital payments and banking, Apple’s succession planning, leadership transitions within the Tata Group, the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme, China’s supply-chain strategy, the growing significance of the BRICS Summit, and global discussions around dedollarisation.

Such industry-led interactions play an important role in preparing PGDM students to understand and respond to the evolving corporate landscape.
