MET Institute of Technology conducted a Career Awareness Seminar on “Career Opportunities Through C-CDAC” at Konkan Gyanpeeth College of Engineering, Karjat on 12th March 2026.
The session was delivered by Mr. Nilesh Shirke, Course Cordinator, MET Institute of Technology, who guided engineering students on the various career opportunities available through Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) training programs.
During the seminar, students were informed about C-DAC certificate training programs, eligibility criteria and admission process, placement opportunities through the Regional Common Campus Placement Program, and available scholarship schemes. The session also provided an overview of emerging career domains such as Information Technology, IT Enabled Services (ITeS), Cloud Computing, Data Science, and IT Support.
The seminar helped students gain better clarity about higher technical education options, industry expectations, and career pathways in the IT sector. Students remained attentive throughout the session and appreciated the valuable insights shared.
