An interactive session on "Design Thinking for Innovation and Problem Solving" was conducted for the MCA students of MET Institute of Computer Science by Dr. Vaishali Kulkarni, Dean, MET Institute of PGDM on 1st August 2026. The session aimed to introduce students to the principles and applications of Design Thinking, an approach widely adopted by leading organizations to solve complex problems through creativity and user-centric innovation.

Dr. Kulkarni, who holds a PhD in Knowledge Management and is a KPMG Design Thinking Certified Practitioner as well as Harvard certified in Disruptive Strategy, shared practical insights through interactive discussions and real-world examples. The session encouraged students to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and develop innovative solutions, preparing them with industry-relevant skills essential for their future careers.
