MET Institute of PGDM students recently undertook a live project with Varun Beverages Limited (PepsiCo) during the Ganpati Festival at Lalbaug, Mumbai, from 23rd Aug to 6th Sept 2025.
This hands-on experience provided valuable exposure to the FMCG sector, focusing on sales, distribution, consumer interactions, and festive demand patterns in a dynamic marketplace.
The project highlighted how cultural practices and consumer behavior influence beverage choices, while also giving insights into retail visibility, promotional strategies, competitor analysis, and distribution management.
