MET Institute of Management organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the case study method from June 12 to June 14, 2025, as part of its Annual Case Writing Workshop initiative. The FDP was conducted by Dr. Amarpreet Singh Ghura, Associate Professor at FLAME University, Pune, and a renowned case author with extensive experience in case-based teaching and research.
The FDP was designed to build the pedagogical capabilities of faculty members by introducing them to the effective use of the case study method in classroom teaching. Dr. Ghura guided participants through the structure of case writing, the nuances of conducting interviews with case narrators, and approaches for using cases in teaching and assessment.
This FDP marks the beginning of MET IOM's Annual Case Writing Workshop, which will span five days across June and July 2025, with the initial phase conducted from June 12 to June 14. The program aims to support faculty in developing original case studies that contribute to academic learning and industry relevance.
We express our appreciation to Dr. Amarpreet Singh Ghura for leading the sessions and to all faculty participants for their engagement in the program.
