Dr. Omprakash Mandge, I/C Principal, MET Institute of Computer Science conducted a two-day Faculty Development Programme on "Hands-on Approach to Transforming Pharmacy Education through Python, Machine Learning & AI" on 17th & 18th July 2026, held at MET Institute of Pharmacy (Degree).
The FDP gave 28 faculty participants hands-on exposure to Python programming, machine learning, healthcare data analysis, and AI applications in pharmacy. Through practical exercises and interactive sessions led by Dr. Omprakash Mandge, participants explored how emerging technologies can enhance teaching, research, and innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.
The programme received enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, reflecting MET ICS's growing role in driving AI-driven, cross-disciplinary capacity building.
