MET Institute of Management organized the Finance Roundtable 2026 on 24th August 2026, in association with the Centre for Knowledge Sovereignty (CKS) on “Data Resilience in the BFSI Sector – Intelligence Meets Integrity: Building Trust Through AI and Data Resilience.” The event brought together industry experts, academicians, faculty and students to discuss the growing importance of AI, data security and resilience in the BFSI sector.
The event featured distinguished speakers including Mr. Harish Mehta, Co-founder & Executive Chairman, NASSCOM and Onward Technologies; Mr. Vinit Goenka, Secretary, Centre for Knowledge Sovereignty; Smt. Sumitra Goenka, Director, Centre for Knowledge Sovereignty; Mr. Anoop Chaturvedi, Director – BFSI Business, Hewlett Packard Enterprise; and Mr. Thirunarayanan Varadadesigan, Executive Director & Chief Technology Officer, Ratein Infotech India Pvt. Ltd. The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Nilesh Gokhale, Director I/C, MET Institute of Management. The speakers shared valuable insights on data governance, cybersecurity, responsible AI and digital transformation.
The event concluded with an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, providing students and faculty an opportunity to engage with the experts, followed by the felicitation of the guests and a vote of thanks by Dr. Rohini Andhare, Convener, MET IOM COE Finance.
