As part of its continued commitment to nurturing globally aware and industry-ready professionals, MET Institute of Management (MET IOM) launched its ongoing Global Immersion and Cultural Exchange Program in Japan on June 10, 2025. The students are on a 40-day internship program in Japan where the students will receive a transformative international exposure enabling them to engage with reputed academic institutions, observe sustainable development practices, interact with professionals from diverse cultures, and explore best practices in business, technology, and innovation.
Representing MET IOM, faculty members Dr. Nirmala Joshi, Associate Professor and Dr. Rashmi Bhadani, Assistant Professor are accompanying a group of MMS Batch 2024–26 students - Sahil Mahendra Chavan, Om Pawaskar, Chetan Chaudhary, Shantanu Sakhare, Harsh Sawant, Dhruv Agarwal, Devel Kate, Arthesh Patil, Siddhesh Surange, Krishna Nandurdikar, and Aishwarya Kathale. Since its commencement, the program has taken the group through key cities in Japan — Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Osaka, and Kyoto — offering a unique blend of structured academic visits and hands-on cultural experiences.
So far, the participants have gained meaningful insights into Japan’s innovation-driven economy, sustainability efforts, and heritage-rich society.
