MET Institute of Pharmacy (Diploma) successfully organized a guest lecture on “Dispensing and Medication Errors in the Hospital” for Second Year Diploma students on 7th February 2026.

The session was conducted by Mr. Sheetal Chandan, Hospital Pharmacist at KEM Hospital, who provided valuable insights into the hospital dispensing process and highlighted common medication errors, their causes, and effective preventive strategies. He emphasized the critical role of pharmacists in ensuring patient safety, maintaining accuracy in dispensing, and fostering clear communication within the healthcare team.

The lecture also offered meaningful career guidance, encouraging Diploma Pharmacy students to explore government job opportunities in hospitals and public healthcare sectors.
