MET Institute of Management concluded its three-day Internal Smart India Hackathon on 23rd September 2026, bringing to a close an intensive journey of ideation, innovation and problem-solving.
Conducted as part of the Aarohan programme, the three-day event saw 10 teams participation in day-long workshops, working on real-world problem statements and developing proposed solutions by the end of each day.
The solutions developed by the teams were presented and evaluated by Jury Members Mr. Sandesh Akre, Ms. Dharmishta Gala, Mr. Sachin Joshi and Mr. Harshad Savant. Following the evaluations, teams were guided for the next round. These teams, along with the shortlisted second-year teams, will form the official entries from MET Institute of Management for the Smart India Hackathon 2026.
The three-day event concluded with appreciative remarks from Dr. Nilesh Gokhale, Director (I/C), MET IOM, followed by a vote of thanks by Dr. Sandesh Akre, Convenor, IIC & SPOC, SIH. The concluding remarks acknowledged the enthusiasm, efforts and innovative spirit demonstrated by the participating teams, as well as the contribution of everyone involved in facilitating the hackathon.
