Students at MET IIS visited Vikramgad Bamboo Udyog Producer Company Limited on 23rd March 2026 in Palghar, a remarkable tribal women entrepreneurship initiative engaged in producing eco-friendly bamboo products that serve as sustainable alternatives to plastic in everyday use.
The visit proved to be a truly enriching experience, marked by the warm hospitality of the village community. Students received hands-on training in crafting bamboo products and gained practical exposure to the traditional art of Warli painting. They also witnessed the tribal folk Tarpa dance and enthusiastically participated in it, making the experience even more memorable. Additionally, students had the opportunity to explore the beautifully maintained Oxygen Park.
