MET Asian Management Development Centre (AMDC) organised a Geopolitics Summit on 10 October 2026 to examine how a fragmented global landscape is influencing business, finance, supply chains and marketing. Eminent speakers from defence, finance, law, supply chain management and marketing shared their perspectives on emerging global challenges.

Dr. Sangeeta Tandon, Director, MET AMDC, set the context for the discussions. Col. Bhaskar Tatwawadi, CS Anant Amdekar and Dr. Nitin Kulkarni explored water security, India’s strategic position in the global economy and the influence of geopolitics on finance.

Squadron Leader Sargam Tatwawadi, Mr. Shivendra Tripathi and Mr. Uday Mundhe discussed lessons from modern warfare, supply chain resilience and dynamic marketing strategies in an uncertain and interconnected world.

The panel discussion was moderated by CFA Rishi Kabra and concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Arun Patil, Dean, MET AMDC.

The summit connected management education with real-world geopolitical developments, highlighting the importance of global awareness, strategic thinking and adaptability for future business leaders. The initiative reflects MET AMDC’s commitment to providing students with industry-relevant perspectives on the forces shaping the global economy.
