MET Asian Management Development Centre (AMDC) hosted the IIBA Mumbai Chapter BA Leadership Symposium on 31 October 2026, bringing together business analysis leaders and industry professionals from Accenture, PwC, Siemens, Marsh, Cognizant, Jio Financial Services, Aditya Birla Capital and Protean eGov.
IIBA office-bearers, led by IIBA President Dr. Pradeep Pendse, joined Dr. Sangeeta Tandon, Director, MET AMDC, in welcoming the gathering. Mr. Arun Patil, Dean, MET AMDC, expressed gratitude to IIBA for extending the opportunity to MET students and faculty members to participate in the symposium.
The programme featured panel discussions, round-table deliberations, “Hot Seat” conversations and “Provocative Thoughts” segments covering business analysis, data, artificial intelligence and product strategy.
A key highlight was the presentation of two student-developed applications to investors. One application addressed real estate and housing challenges, while the other focused on insurance premium calculation, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their ideas and explore practical business applications.
The symposium connected management education with corporate practices, offering insights into the evolving role of business analysis, the growing relevance of AI and data skills, and the importance of curiosity and informed decision-making in today's business environment.
Through such industry engagements, MET AMDC continues to create platforms for experiential learning, industry interaction and student innovation, preparing future management professionals for an evolving business landscape.
